All of our Community Gatherings (aside from gardening social) are currently meeting virtually. To meet the risen mental health support needed in response to the pandemic, Peer Support Space has begun offering Daily Digital Communal Gatherings at 12PM and 6PM, Monday-Saturday for the general community atop of moving our existing Community Gatherings virtual.
Our community gatherings are peer-led support groups that are non-clinical and led by a trained peer with lived experience in the group's topic or community. Each community gathering is unique to the population it serves and is created in a peer-led collaborative group process.
The following are free, non-clinical, peer-led support groups hosted by Peer Support Space taking place in Eastern Time (EST). New friends are always welcome.
Use zoom links below (on computer or zoom phone app) to enter. Alternatively, you may call in by dialing 1 929 205 6099 from your phone and then entering the group's meeting ID.
Please contact us for more information or for accessibility needs.
In addition to the above groups, we are currently working to create groups for communities including Domestic Violence Survivors, Human Trafficking Survivors, Aged out Foster Kids, Black Men, Caregivers, Returning Citizens, Crime Survivors, Disaster Survivors, Family Members of Suicide Survivors, Adults with ADHD, and more. To bring up a community need, for questions, or for more information please email our Director of Peer Services, Dandelion, at Dandelion@peersupportspace.org
Peer Support Space is created in order to provide peer support, we are not a clinical program and do not offer medical treatment of any kind.
