Loving yourself can be hard, and it can take practice- but you are worth it! Peer Support Space, Inc. wants to normalize self-love in a world that tells us it isn't okay to say things like "damn, you look good today!" to ourselves. We invite you to join us as we push past our comfort zones to find something we like about ourselves and share it publicly. We know this is uncomfortable, but your bravery to be vulnerable may encourage someone else that it's okay to love themselves too! There are beautiful parts to all of us. If you are having a hard time complimenting yourself, perhaps think of a compliment someone has told you before. For example, you may not think you are charismatic, but if other's have told you that you are then saying something like "Others have told me that I am _____" would still hold true! Loving ourselves is a journey, and not an easy one.
Take a step towards loving yourself during mental health month (May) by participating in the #SelfLoveChallenge!
Write "I Love Myself Because ______" and tell us why!
