About Butterfly Talks

Butterfly Talks

Butterfly Talks was created to provide a safe place to build friendships and a sense of community among questioning, lesbian, multiple-gender loving, queer woman and all transgender individuals. New members are always welcome!

We meet the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month 6:30PM-8PM at 507 E. Michigan St., Orlando, FL, 32806, with a topic or activity, aiming to strengthen our mission. Social gatherings are occasional organized as well!

For digital support in between groups you can join the Butterfly Sanctuary this is a great resource to share mental health memes, resources, and get support from peers.

In This Group We:

  • Respect and validate every sexual orientation and gender
  • Are welcoming and introduce ourselves to new members
  • Are non-judgmental and uplifting
  • Are not a dating service; we are friends and allow ourselves to be vulnerable
  • Give every member time to share

Many of us also know how difficult it is to find friends as adults, or to find environments hangout as LGBTQ+ individuals that aren't bars or clubs. Many of us also know how it feels to walk into most LGBTQ+ events and feel out of place, a majority of those present being gay men. This group is for that "other" group, we don't care if we don't know you yet, we accept you in as our chosen family whether you are questioning, gender nonconforming, gender fluid, asexual, bisexual, pansexual, lesbian, prefer to not have labels, or identify with any other labels.
